About Christmas Film Reviews
Christmas Film Reviews is a non-commercial guide to Christmas films, ranked by the people who watch them. Rate the films you love (and the ones you don't). Every rating counts towards the Nice List for the whole world, your country and your region.
How the Nice List works
Each film shows its real average rating. But if we ranked by average alone, a film with one 5-star rating would beat a film with 500 ratings averaging 4.8. So the order uses a weighted score: we count every film as if it also had 5 ratings of 3.5 stars. Films with only a few ratings stay in the middle of the list until enough people agree they're brilliant (or terrible).
We work out your country and region from your connection when you rate a film. We don't store your IP address.
What counts as a Christmas film?
Our list starts with every film Wikidata tags as a Christmas film, plus films TMDB users have tagged “christmas”. Then we add the ones that deserve to be there. Die Hard is a Christmas film.
Mince pie with your film?
Our sister site Mince Pie Reviews celebrates the best mince pies in the UK. Pick your film here, then pick your pie there.
